Owners of 2015 Yamaha FX / FZ SVHO......Any complaints or issues with the new model?

Each year a new model comes out, you always hear of some things that need to be worked out from the factory. I am a yamaha fan but I know any manufacturer will have issues arise with new tech. I am very curious to hear the Issues of this years new line of FX / FZ SVHO's as I am looking into making another waverunner purchase in the coming months. Any feedback and tips as to this subject will be helpful.

I have a 2015 fzs so far so good. Mild mods faster 0-60 then anything around here not built and fast with mild mods. I only have about 10 hours on it. I was worried about the timing chain thing but got a five year warranty and am only doing mild reversible mods

    2015 FZR.

Coupler broke on shaft, stuffed the pump and gave me a concussion and twisted shoulder. So far one CT, 4 xrays, and need to get an MRI of my right shoulder.

Yamaha is aware and they're investigating why it happened and what the resolution will be.

No complaints otherwise. It's like moving from a Civic to an M6 in terms of differences from my GPR.

sorry to hear of the injuries... We're you making hard turns when it broke? Just trying to figure out how the jetski would react if it broke going straight vs hard banks.

It broke going straight. Having an impeller stop moving is like throwing it in reverse, water has to go somewhere and that somewhere is in reverse direction (aka "stuffing" the pump).

If It broke in a hard bank and someone was videotaping? You would see a cool youtube video of someone ragdolling across the water. I probably wouldn't have gotten hurt as long as I didn't hit an object if that happened to me. Instead I got properly introduced to the handlebars.

I just want my ski back, my body heals but summer doesn't last forever. This weekend in Orlando is the Adult Summer Games on Lake Toho

Picked up a 2015 FX SVHO and am shocked at the improvements from 2008. Speed, Acceleration, Ride Quality, Comfort and Fit and Finish are leaps and bounds better than my 2008 version. Very happy and no problems to report.

No issues from Yamaha. I have the 2015 FX SVHO and love the ski. I added a few upgrade parts and started to cavitate. I have the rest of Stage 1 kit in a box from UPS waiting for me at home.

I've read on the 2015 FZR you can do nothing but a Dean's Team flash + impeller and you're kissing the 80s?
